Behind-The-Scenes of the Okanagan Store Tour
We just wrapped three days on the road, and it started with a bang. Or rather, a gust of wind.
We launched our summer collection on the same day that Marika, Hailey and I hit the road, so naturally we decided to shoot content on the ferry. What followed was jewelry flying across the deck, strangers on their hands and knees helping us find pieces, and a lot of very loud laughter. Not exactly the launch content we'd planned, but very on-brand.

Once we made it to the mainland, the trip couldn't have gone better. Our first stop was Vernon, where seeing a long-time store's Glee display and hearing their feedback in person was a great reminder of why these trips matter. From there we headed to Lake Country to visit a newer retailer. Their first orders had nearly sold through completely. Their restock was en route, so we didn't get to see the display, but we got to explore their store and hear their plans to bring Glee into their second location in West Kelowna.
We love that.

We based ourselves in West Kelowna, right on the lake, and even snuck in a winery visit. We didn't get much time by the pool and lake, but we did get something better: we met a family staying at the same place and ended up doing a personal Pursuit of Glee just for them. Because all moms deserve a little Glee in their lives.

We also had a moment that started as a hidden drop and turned into something better. We spotted a woman sitting alone at a table and thought, why hide it? We walked over and hand delivered a little Glee directly to her.Β Fully worth it!

The next morning we stumbled across the sweetest cafe and lo and behold, there was a door right into one of our long-time retailers. The Glee display was glowing through the doorway at us. Funny how things just flow like that sometimes.

We spent the rest of the day visiting stores in Kelowna, and the Pursuit of Glee out in the wild continues to blow us away. The bags are being found, the love for Glee is so apparent, andwe couldn't be more proud of the following we're building.

On the way home we made time for two stops in Chilliwack, and it was fantastic to get to know those teams and stores a little better. There is nothing like seeing Glee in your stores, through your eyes.
These road trips are becoming something we look forward to! Where should we go next?
